The Great Aftermarket Mobilization continues for the updated-for-2022 Kawasaki KLR650, with Corbin now announcing a second replacement seat for the bike. Now, you can order Corbin's Rally saddle for the KLR, specifically designed for improved offroad usability.

While Corbin is best-known for offering seats aimed at comfort and long-distance comfort, the Rally saddle has a straight cut to it, for sliding back and forth to change your center of mass depending on what sort of terrain you’re on. Corbin's Rally saddle also sits a bit higher than is customary for aftermarket seats, adding more space between the pegs and the seat. Supposedly, seat height is just about the same as the stock KLR seat, but for taller riders, this may be a more attractive option than Corbin's Dual Platform seat, unveiled a few weeks back.

The Rally saddle's pillion section is "designed for short to medium rides with a neutralized platform to curb sliding forward in the saddle," says Corbin.

Like the Dual Platform seat, the Rally saddle is available with an electric heater in the front section of the saddle. It's basically plug-and-play; wire the pigtail into your KLR's fusebox, and then you just flip the switch for instant heat, as it comes pre-installed into the saddle.

Corbin says the Rally saddle is designed to work with factory saddlebags and topbox, and it will even work "with a variety of non-Kawi trunk boxes like the ubiquitous KLR milk crate setup too." Sounds like they understand the target market, then! Pricing starts at $618 US for the standard seat, or $735 US for the heated version. For more deets, visit Corbin's website.
