From the curb, signals are transferred via coaxial cables to the actual residence. Since there are multiple connections installed in a single curb, customers face bandwidth loss at times. In simple terms, FTXX includes all types of Fibre infrastructure. Whether it's FTTH, FTTC or FTTP. The X in the FTTX is used for a particular place or object, such as a curb or home. Mostly, FTTX is used in the local region between the end-user premises and the edge of the carrier network. The fibre optic infrastructure provides internet connection in home, businesses and other organisations. Since FTTX offers better speed and connectivity, multiple copper-based connections are switched with the new infrastructure.
