Nov 27, 2023Techart Sharpens The Porsche 911 GT3 With Carbon Fiber Goodies
Techart has introduced a new carbon fiber package that makes a Porsche 911 GT3 more comfortable on the racetracks. The killer looks are a bonus!
German tuning house Techart and Porsche are a match made in heaven. These guys make some of the coolest and very desirable modification packages for almost all Porsche cars out there. They recently introduced a carbon-fiber package for the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3. This is one of those Porsches that is perfect in every way, and never would anyone feel that it needs upgrades.
But Techart does, and they have managed to elevate the 911 GT3's potential further up the desirability meter. The idea was to give people a heightened experience of the race-bred 911 GT3, but without going over the top. And the meticulously designed aerodynamic components of this new package convey it perfectly. The interior also gets a racier makeover with track-ready additions, all the while, increasing its visual drama.
This aero-spec package is offered for both the Standard and Touring GT3 models. This kit by Techart doesn't fiddle with the mechanicals including its glorious engine, which is a good thing. With the selective tweaks, Techart has stirred up the 911 GT3's racing character, In short, with these Techart carbon fiber goodies, you will be able to lap around a track quicker than your buddy with a stock 911 GT3, and make him envious!

Techart has managed to elevate the already-dashing Porsche 911 GT3's visual appeal with aerodynamically enhanced carbon fiber body panels. The additions are subtle, but they are enough to tell a standard 911 GT3 apart from a Techart'd one!
The carbon fiber treatment for the front fascia includes an air intake panel, an aerodynamic hood with air vents, and even apron panels. The front bumper gets a carbon fiber splitter too. Coming to the sides, Techart has given the GT3 carbon fiber front fenders which are 0.6 inches wider than standard, and also gets wheel arch louvers.
The side profile is further accentuated with carbon fiber side skirts and in-house designed Formula VII Race forged wheels. These wheels can be customized further and come in 20-inch front and 21-inch rear size configurations. The rear gets a cool new carbon fiber spoiler and rear air intake panel with a service hatch.
The "Porsche" written along the connected taillight is now gone, and we have "Techart" instead. Apart from these bits, the side mirror covers have also been replaced with lighter carbon fiber ones. All of these carbon fiber bits are offered in either matter or high-gloss forms. Dramatizing things further are optional forged carbon parts.

All the exterior carbon fiber additions are not over-the-top. But all of these bits have their additional perks. The weight savings are a no-brainer but, Techart has invested a lot of resources to make this carbon fiber package an aerodynamic affair for the 911 GT3.
This further helps elevate the driving dynamics of this fierce Porsche, more so on the racetracks where you can time things and see the difference. The new forged wheels also play an important role in reducing unsprung mass which is sure to bring about a change in the cornering abilities of this German hooligan!
Techart has not left the already desirable interior of the Porsche 911 GT3 unattended. The German tuner is offering various levels of tuning capabilities for the interior with Alcantara, leather, and motorsport-inspired fabrics; apart from the obvious carbon fiber trims! All of this comes as a bundle if you opt for the Techart Clubsport package.
The steering wheel is bespoke and is the most desirable part of this cool interior package. Techart has also attended to elevating safety with a hand-welded roll bar made of steel. It is FIA-homologated and is available in matte black as stock, or in any other shade of your choice upon request. Techart also offers an FIA-certified six-pointer racing harness in black, green, red, and yellow.

Techart has not fiddled with the near-perfect heart of the 992-gen Porsche 911 GT3. The naturally aspirated 4.0-Liter flat-six packs 502 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque. It is the same engine from the last-gen 911 GT3. Yup, the engine didn't need any work even for Porsche's generation upgrade.
Techart has also not tweaked the motor nor the gearbox options (a seven-speed DCT a.k.a PDK or a six-speed manual). The stock GT3 does 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds (with the PDK) and has a top speed of up to 197 mph, with power being sent to the rear wheels only. These numbers remain unchanged for the Techart-tuned 911 GT3s, but flaunt it in more style!
Techart has not detailed the pricing of its carbon fiber package. But while we wait on that, the German tuner is already taking in orders to give the 911 GT3 a carbon-fiber "chin-up" job. Deliveries of the same are slated for October 2022.
