A man was electrocuted Wednesday morning while he was working on fiber optic cable lines in Hamilton, police said.

Officers were called to 11 South Gold Drive for a report of a white bucket truck and a yellow box truck on fire, according to a statement from the Hamilton Police Department. While they were extinguishing the flames they found human remains on fire on top of the box truck.

The remains were identified as 52-year-old Cherry Hill resident Dean Kitchin, who had been electrocuted by a live wire while working on the lines, authorities said.
