Member Designated Projects
The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure will soon begin the process of considering a long-term reauthorization of surface transportation programs, with Committee action expected later this spring.
Below are resources to assist Members of Congress in submitting highway and transit project designations.
Please note that only Members and approved staff of the U.S. House of Representatives will be able to access the secured website to submit project designations for Committee consideration. Non-federal partner inquiries regarding this process should be directed to the offices of Members who represent the project in question.
Member requests will be posted online in accordance with Committee guidance to ensure transparency and accountability.
The deadline for Member Designated Projects has been extended by one week. The new deadline for submissions is 6:00pm EDT on Friday April 23, 2021.
The Committee requires Members to publicly post all their submitted Member Designated Project requests on their official House website. The Committee is also providing the below consolidated table of submitted projects that contains the same information that is required to be posted on the Member's website. All project requests posted will undergo careful evaluation by the Committee, in compliance with all required House Rules and previously provided member guidance, and only select projects may be funded from this list.
